Vegan Vermont!

I just got home after a week in lovely Burlington, Vermont, where I was attending a workshop hosted by the Cambridge Centre for Animal Rights Law. As if immersing myself in the world of animal rights wasn’t cool enough, I also got to explore the many vegan gems Burlington has to offer! Among the highlights:

  • Discovering the many vegan delights at the amazing City Market Onion River Co-op, including maple sourdough donuts in the bakery section and local maple syrup in the bulk section! (I would live in this place if I could)

  • Perfectly flaky chocolate vegan croissants at the Sustainable Kitchen stall at the Burlington Farmer’s Market (thank you SK for the bonus croissant!)

  • The perfect Asian Ginger bowl at Thorn & Roots (confession: I had it for lunch three times!)

  • Epically delicious Chinese food galore at A Single Pebble (seriously one of the Top 5 Best Meals of my life)

Thank you Burlington for being oh-so-delightful and vegan friendly! You are a gem.
