Scandinavia awaits…

Tonight’s my last night in the US for awhile. I’m headed to Scandinavia for the summer, and my first stop is an entirely new place for me: Finland! I grew up loving Moomins and Marimekko so I’m pretty excited to see the place where these beloved things came to life. I can’t wait to walk the streets Tove Jansson walked down and soak up some of her badass radical feminist energy! I’ll be speaking at the Helsinki Animal Law Conference and I can’t wait to explore Helsinki’s vegan scene!

My travels will take me to Sweden and all over Norway too, including some places where “vegan” is a more alien concept than “whale meat.” I’m curious to see these places and meet the people who make them their home… and I’ll be on the lookout for vegans everywhere I go! I hope you’ll join me on this adventure!
